MEET THE FOUNDER
Jonathan started CAID Financial after 12 years in the financial services industry- experience in comprehensive financial planning, asset management, tax strategy, retirement planning, and insurance planning. During that time, one client relationship kept revealing itself as underserved: physicians.
Doctors face a financial journey unlike almost any other professional. Years of training with minimal income, followed by the sudden onset of high earning, significant student loan obligations, complex tax situations, and almost no time to manage any of it. Jonathan saw how often physicians were either ignored by large institutions or handed cookie-cutter plans by advisors who didn't understand the nuances of medical income, PSLF, moonlighting, practice ownership, or the compressed wealth-building timeline physicians navigate.
"I built CAID Financial because physicians deserve more than a generic plan handed to them between patient rounds. They deserve an advisor who speaks their language — and is legally bound to act in their interest alone."
CAID Financial was launched as an independent, fee-only fiduciary practice in advisory relationships — meaning Jonathan is never compensated through commissions, product sales, or referral fees. Every recommendation made at CAID Financial exists for one reason: it is in the client's best interest. Jonathan holds three advanced designations from The American College of Financial Services: the ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant), which covers the full breadth of financial planning; the RICP® (Retirement Income Certified Professional), focused on viable income strategies in retirement; and the CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter), reflecting expertise in risk management and insurance planning.
Based in Idaho, CAID Financial serves physicians, pre-retirees, and high-income professionals who want a disciplined, transparent financial planning relationship — built with a goal to last a career.
